What: Every Sunday afternoon in Palisades Park, Santa Monica, the Sun Canyon Band plays music for anyone who wants to sit and listen, wander by or dance with their children, their dogs or their friends. Bring something to sit on, whatever you'd like to eat or drink, and enjoy a mellow afternoon in the park.

“Diane Hubka & The Sun Canyon Band” blends Diane’s honey-toned vocals and rhythm guitar, Rick Mayock’s expressive lead guitar work, melodic vocals and . . . a dynamic rhythm section," creating a tapestry of folk, Americana, and vintage rock & roll. Their music "'would sit perfectly in the mix with Joni Mitchell, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot and even early Clapton solo releases . . ." (Luke Wolk, Radio Guitar One) Upbeat, casual fun.

When: The band plays from 3:00 to 6:30, so it doesn't matter when you come. Bring a sweater for when it cools down. Street parking. Free concert.
